What is this???

What is this?? It is like an almost C but not closed. It is all white and is getting bigger. It is now on the rock and on the back glass. :confused: :confused:

Are they growing in little spirals? Look really close, they are probably little featherduster-like critters. Filter feeders. Not a problem.

i asked about these and was told they were cessile snails. I didnt include a picture so it was identified by my description. Just checked my previous post, heres what they are... from saltyshark

(thanks Sammy ) I believe he also mentioned something about them being an indication that there is enough calcium in the system for them to reproduce and form their calcareous tubes. And that there is enough plankton to sustain filter feeders. Do a board search on Spirorbidae. There's a ton of info on them.
