what is this???

This is a picture from a friends tank....any ideas on what it is. We think that it might be a small BTA?????

looks like some green ricordia to me. they are cool little corals that don't require too much work. They sell them here so you can take a look at a pic in u-build it.

I first thought it was ricordia, but then changed my mind when i noticed that the tentacles are only on the outer edge, and the tentacles are kind of pointy on the end.

yeah, if it is pointy it probably isn't ricordia...I figured it had jusy been beat up a little in transit. I guess you'll have to wait for someone who actually knows something to help you

She has 3 of these in her tank that came in on her live rock. She doesnt do anything special for them, and they seem to be doing fine and growing. She is going to keep them, and has no intentions of getting rid of them, but was curious to what they were.
