The word bleached is not only what has happened to the anemone is but what it looks like. Bleached color is the loss or losing of its zooxanthellae, so there is a pure white tone to the animal. As a general rule there is no such thing as a healthy white anemone. Tanish, cream tint can be found in some species like the LTA, but it looks completely different than the specimen shown here. Pure bleach white to transluscent is absolutely not healthy.
