what kind of ballasts do TEK fixtures use?

I don't know exactly, but most manufacturers tend to use really bizzare chinese branded ballasts in their stuff.
You could call the manufacturer and see if they'll send you a replacement, then you know it's the right one.
Or, you can take the fixture apart, measure the ballast dimensions, and find a off-the-shelf replacement that will fit.
