What kind of clown fish can be kept in a bio cube?

Realistically, and 8 gallon cube is too small for pretty much any clown. If you get a false perc when it's still pretty small you may be able to keep it in there for a while, but I don't know if I'd recommend it.

I all ready have a cleaner shrimp in there. I cant get a hold of a neon goby. I was waiting for around 6 months for a neon goby but they still don't have any right now. Id like to get a neon goby. Do you know any kind of good fish that can be kept in a 8 gallon reef? They have to be reef safe and invert safe. I want 2 fish that have a lot of personality and can live in my 8 gallon bio cube for the rest of there life. Anyone got any ideas?

Yes, there are yellow clown gobies, as well as green and other varieties. I don't know if I'd have more than one clown goby per tank. Perhaps some sort of cardinal, because they don't really swim a lot, or a small damsel. (I know, most people don't want damsels. With a tank that small, though, a damsel would be a good choice because they're hardy as hell. Colorful, too, and not very expensive.)

you really shouldn't stick any clown in an 8 gallon...
that's really too small.
They're fine for nano tanks, but not that small.

What? Your LFS does not have neon gobys? Why not find another lfs? They dont sound like a good one. Thats a really common fish for them to carry. You may also want to ask them to get you one. You can also order one from this site or buy one from another reefer.
With an 8 gal you are really limited to the fish. Thats a small house.
I like the citron clown goby. They are great fish.
How about a scooter blenny. But you will need to raise there food.

The store cant get a hold of one tho they say. I know 6 LFS and the best one with the best prices is the one that they dont have neon gobys. I didnt ask the other stores yet, im going to call up all the LFS i know and ask if they got 1. I dont want to order one from hear because the fish is $20 + $15 on shipping, i can get 2 fish for the same price as one fish at my LFS. Are cardinals invert safe? because i want to get a peppermint shrimp, and i all ready have a cleaner shrimp. Don't scooter blennys need pods to survive like mandarinfish? Im thinking of getting clown goby, and maybe a scooter blenny or a cardinal. If i get a hold of a neon goby ill probably put it in my FOWLR tank.

uh...
the neon goby from this site is 10 bucks.
the golden one is 20.
a normal neon goby though has just as much character as a golden one...and personally I rather like the blue. Plus it's not as big as the golden so it will be better suited for your 8 gallon.
and please don't get a scooter and put it in an 8 gallon.

i think your best bet is an orange lined cardinal, but a tank size of 12 gallons or more is still recommended for those. The other cardinals, i.e. banggais, flame, pajamas all need at least 30 gallon tanks.

I don't really like how the orange lined cardinal looks like. Is there any kind of other fish that can be kept in a 8 gallon bio cube for the rest of there life with a clown goby and inverts and corals?

actually yea...
if I were you, in an 8 gallon, that would be a pretty cool thing to get!
Yashia Shrimp Goby Paired with Red Banded Pistol Shrimp.

they have a symbioitic relationship which is neat. The pistol is practically blind so it spends its day cleaning the burrow and the goby watches out for danger right outside the burrow.
