What kind of color do sun corals come in?

looks like a sun coral, but you are facing a dire need to nurse that orange one back to health. you should be feeding it at least once a day as much as it can eat.

I am feeding the orange one every day. It looked worse when I first got it.

good deal! if you keep it up, you'll see it skin over, and have baby polyps start forming. once you see it starting to skin over then i'd cut back to once every 2-3 days, then once it gets really healthy and starts forming baby polyps you can go to once every 4-5 days, then once a week when you want to slow the growth.

i'd say so, especially how it is skinning over and branching out. once you're ready to frag it i'd love a pm :)

Very nice Coral Keeper. If you have problems, take a 2 liter bottle, and cut off the bottom half, and put it over your sun coral. That way the food will sink down on top of it, and its a real pain for snails and such to get to it.
My biggest problem is the effing nassarius snails. They will almost eat a head off my sun to get the food. Mine get relocated at least 5 times each during feeding to other parts of the tank. I usually take some brine and inject it not very deep under the surface of the sand, and the snails find it and fight over it. Buys me time.

can you post a pic? $5 for 5 heads is great price for either a sun coral or a dendro, but i've just never heard of pink sun corals.

They aren't pink, like a birdsnest pink, they just are pinkish...its a morph of the yellow/orange ones.
