What kind of damsel....?

Saw this in the LFS today, and they had it labelled as a "blue damsel". Ok. It looks very much like a green chromis, a little larger, with an orange body (the same orange as those popsicles we used to buy from the good humor guy) with a light blue coloration that begins at the gills and covers the head. Any idea what species damsel/chromis this is?

The Blue Damsel Fish comes from the Tropical Indo-Pacific. It grows to a length of 3 inches. It is also known as Pomacentrus Coelestis. They frequent shallow rubble areas. They are generally found in groups which vary in number from perhaps 10-50 individuals. It's a territorial fish and may prove to be on the quarrelsome side when kept in captivity, particularly towards smaller members of its own species. A hardy fish which eats nearly anything.

Your both wrong. The fish you described
is indeed a blue damsel, BUT....
Its an austrailin blue damsel. It has
the blue of a blue damsel and the bright
orange of a good humor popsicle.
These fish are fairly rare, I've seen them
once or twice, and sell for about $12.99
each. They have the same exact temperment of
a blue devil damsel. I've seen variations
of this fish with an orange head, orange tails,
orange bodys, and orange stomachs.
I'm pretty sure this is the fish your talking
about

dont remember the name, but at the lfs, there was this damsel that looked blue but her belly was a bit orange-ish... when you looked at her from the front or back her whole body looked orange... really neat :D

I have that same fish in my tank, I was told it was an orange chromis. I have had mine for about 6 months---harmless so far. HTH. :)
