What kind of fish is this?

What kind of fish are these? My buddy caught two of them living in some floating grape caulerpa at the beach. They were smaller than dimes and now are almost the size of a nickel in 3 weeks time.

They're super fast and for being the tiniest fish in my tank they aren't scared of anything. Anybody in the Miami area that wants them? If not they're a gift for my lfs.

Since your friend caught them at the beach....can't you put them back???

If he was placed in a tank with fish, inverts, LR or anything that's not local... he shouldn't be put back.
He could reintroduce something that is not seen in local waters.
