I had a Hippo for a couple of years in a 56 column tank. He grew very fast. I moved him to my 120..he grew faster. He never seemed to bother anyone in the tank. He was in with green chromis, flame angel, red sea purple tang, and scissortail gobies. I sold him to a guy I do tank maintenance for last summer for $20.00. I let him have it cheap because he has a well taken care of tank, and it is a 300 gallon reef tank(plenty of room to grow). I also sold him my purple. I have another purple now. He was about 2" when I got him July of last year, and now is around 3".
