What Kind Of Fish!!!

I was just wondering in your opinion what kind of fish to get for a 55 gallon FOWLR just want some opinions to make up my opinions

In my 55 I have a Foxface,Perc Clown,Spotted Hawk,Banggai Cardinal,Coral Beauty, and a few Green Chromis's. Peaceful tank. Plenty of room for all right now. But will be up grading them to a 90 gal.

I would go with less aggressive fish beacause the tank is sory of small and they may get teritorial and fight.
But the list he just gave you is good.

Everyone will have their own opinion and mine is the Goldstripe Maroon Clownfish. Very hardy!!

It really depends on what you want. Post a list of fish you would like to have and then we can go from they're. In my 55, I have 2 true percula clowns, a foxface lo, royal gramma, and lawnmower blenny.

this is actually an old post and people just now started posting so heres what im wanting to get
FISH: lawnmower blenny, 2 percula clowns, clown goby-citron, coral beauty angel
OTHERS: chocolatechip star fish, cleaner shrimp, 2 emerald crabs, 10-15 hermit crabs
with about 50-55lbs of LR

I dont see any promblem with the list. Just be sure not to add all them hermits at once. And what about some snails?

I have a 58 gal tank. How long have you had all those fish in your tank? How many fish do you think i can put in my tank?
My list:
2 true perc clowns(coming in later)
1 dwarf lionfish
1 cleaner shrimp
2 fire shrimp
1 bta
30-40 nass snails(coming in later)
4 red leg hermit crabs

That lion isn't likely to fit into the scheme of things. It will eat the clowns once he is big enough. And that's way too many Nassarius snails.

I thought you can put 1 nass snail for every 1-2 gal in a tank? 30 nass snails shouldnt be much. I might be wrong.... :notsure:

That would depend on how much open area you have. I have a lil less then 1/2 the sand bed showing. And I have 15 Nass's. Thats in a 55 long tank.

Lots of people say one snail per 1-2 gallons or so is needed. I personally think that that might be looking for a quick fix and once they take care of the algae and whatnot some are going to starve to death most likely. I feel when adding clean up crew it's better to add fewer and see what kind of progress they're making. It's much easier to get a few more if the ones you have can't seem to keep up with the job than to get rid of some or just let them die.
