What kind of snail is this?

You should have a few of these in your tank, I have mexican turbo snails, nassarius (bet I spelt that wrong). Nice to get a freeby every now and then.

went back to the lfs, and saw that they stock 'trochus' snails in the tanks where they keep the corals.... so i guess its a trochus?

The tight bands could also point to a Trocus. I'd need to see the opening with the snail retracted to know for sure. Either way, Diatoms are the main food but either may take advantage of dried algae sheets.

I get free things too XD i got 4-6 eletric blue leg crabs :D and i got a coral free which was 80$ o.o and a sea unchin and hmmmmm and that it that came with a live rock the rock is 6 lb and the live rock cost 100$ is that a good price or did they pay me too less XD

Buritto - $100 for a 6lb live rock alone is a lot, send us a picture of what you got what does XD mean
