What kind of Star?

I bought a small Zoo-frag yesterday. When I put it in the tank I saw a tiny starfish crawl out of it. It was white. The body was smaller than a penil eraser and the arms were so little it looked like someone took a pencil and just drew a line on a piece of paper. What kind of starfish is completly white? Is it reef safe?

yes reef safe i have them in my 29 reef they stay in the cc they do not get verry big don't have a glue what they aer called but have had them in there for years.

They are probably micro stars. You can find a picture of them in the hitchiker thread in the new hobbyist forum. Very good to have!
