As you may have seen in previous posts I got a dual tube T-5 light for my refuge. The problem is, they are 30" 18w... are these just normal output fluorescents in a T-5 diameter or are they the HO T-5?? I have looked and looked and can't seem to find the answer
although I am now, pretty sure they are not the HO's  ??
btw, they are made by Coralife.

Those don't even look like T-5's. I think you got jipped...I think those are just normal NO fluorescent bulbs-they are probably t-8's.

hmm...because those don't look like t-5's...these are t-5's.
IDK, I may be mistaken...but I am not really sure...
Look at how much thinner the ones in the pic look compared to yours...

The bulbs say "Coralife F18 T5 BP". I would agree that these can not be the HO's but what are they?? in relation to NO lighting??

Talk about a rookie mistake... 1. listening to the LFS again
2. not doing my own research first

These Coralife T-5 Fixtures are just normal output fluorescents.

Those are T-5's and the watts are too low for it to be HO it has to be at least 39watt to be consider to be a HO bulb. So I'm afraid what you got is a NO light.

Hi all,
I was doing a search for T5 and found your thread. I am looking at 24" 48W T5 HO Fluorescent Fixture by ODYSSEA I have attached a picture. I don't want to get jipped so let me know what your thoughts are.
