What kind of water?

What kind of water do you use to mix with your salt for your reef tank? We are on a well with a water softener. Whats the best way to go for mixing and for just topping off? Thanks in advance. I have lots of ?s, you'll probably get sick of me! LOL

RO-Reverse Osmosis- is the water of choice for reef tanks!

Most hobbyists prefer either RO......or even better RO/DI....filtered water.

Thanks, where do you get yours? do you make your own?

I purchase mine for .23 cents a gal from a trusted local source....but most folks have their own filter.
