I know it probably most likely wont work, but do you think a blue ribbon eel will work for the 28 gallon tank? One of the LFS has a blue ribbon eel that's about 1.5 feet long I think and eats frozen food! The price is about $90. I can put a few PVC pipes in the sand so it can go in them.

Those eels have a almost 99% mortality rate. Even if they do feed they usually die soon of something else. I'd go with the jawfish, there fun to watch and you accually see them most the day unlike most eels.

I still would like to try a blue ribbon eel if it will be fine in a 28 gallon tank. But, it probably wont work because they get way to long for the 28 gallon tank.

Fang blenny, although they are venomous, they are really neat to watch. Just make sure you get one from the Meiacanthus genus.
