what kind of zoa is this It cant be a hornet

It was listed as "very rare" and I got it for $5 so I know its not a hornet.
Does anyone have a clue?

call them whatever you want, thats the fun of zoanthids. call them something and sell them for more because they have a name.....
I hate the name game.
(and yes I have "named corals" and I have named corals. and I have corals with names (like fred)

Looks like one of the "deepwater Japanese" zoas that have come to the market over the last year or so. Nice looking specimen, but remember it is more than likely a wild one. Keep an eye on it. I have 4 colonies out of 8 different ones still thriving in my tank after a year.
