Excellent pics. I have a CoolPix995. Both our cameras do great macros.
In anycase... I think the first snail is an Astrea. The crab looks like a Mexican Red Legged Hermit. I'm definately no pro but I'm giving it a shot.
Lets see if this link is accpetable to the mods (apologies if not)...
