what lighting do i need???

I want to buy a power compact I have a 29 gal. tank. I want to start buying some corals and want to make sure I have enough light for any coral I come across. I would hate to go cheap just to find out it's not enough. :notsure:

everyone has been saying for stony corals u will need metal halide! its in the other lighting thread, check it out!
