What macroalgae for the refugium?

I see many recommend Chaeto over Caulerpa due to the tendancy for Caulerpa to go 'sexual'.
First, what exactly does going sexual mean for Caulerpa? (I know what it means for me

)
Second, elsewhere it was said that Chaeto is not as good an exporter of nitrates as Caulerpa. Is this correct?

Most people recommend cheato because it is noninvasive. I however don't know if one is better than the other. Cheato will do a fine job for trates though.

It was recommended to me to use a combo of chaeto and grape caulerpa. I was told the grape caulerpa is less likely to go se.xual.

The term sexual is misused it really goes asexual Caulerpa will out perform Cheato just keep the caulerpa out of your DT know the pending signs of it going asexual and harvest regularly
