He was just turning 11 months that following Wednesday. We lost him on Thursday August 3rd to asymptomatic pnuemonia. We now have the reef tank and a freshwater tank in memory of our little Angel Tyler. That is a picture of our little boy.
We started an aquarium for his parents too.

I fell in love with reefing on here and only because of the magnificant pictures being posted. Thanks to all that take the time to take, crop, resize and share their photos.
Fully knowing that 100 pictures taken 3-5 are post worthy. Thanks ya'all. Barry

I fell in love when I had freshwater. I was "expanding my horizons" by looking at some salt water fish on a site. The first fish I saw was a royal pseudochromis. I figured I could keep him and and a purple pseudochromis in a 20g tank that was meant for freshwater. It had a treausre chest that bubbled, some plants, sandglass, coral skeleton and a bubble wall in the back. It's a really good thing I found this sight!

I started out with a budget of $500 and that son grew to $2000, I'm now $1000 over budget. LOL, I love this hobby.

I can answer this for everyone. Water. It eventually turned into the additions and the amount that can be placed in a tank. The life is nearly endless. But for most people it is the fact that we are water entities and the fact that we can create the same thing in our living room.
