What member has red and purple firefish?

Hi all - I have seen pictures from someone that has purple and red firefish mixed in one tank.
Please let me know who you are I want some information. How big is your tank? Do they get along? BLAH BLAH BLAH
I have been told that you can't mix them, but I have seen pictures from a couple of people on here who have done it.

i have two red firefish and i`m wanting to get a helfrichi firefish ...

All Firefish are territorial and live singularly or in maited pairs. In the wild they are found in areas with many together but all haveing their own territory. Nomally about two or three feet apart. They will tolerate others if the tank is large enough that they can claim their own territory.

75 gallon tank. ocasionally have a few spats between the three reds but the only problem ive had with the purple is between him and a royal gramma. mostly just posturing by the gramma no real violence.
to do again i would have two reds and two purples. but the reds were among my first fishies a year ago and theve been ok like i said a few spats that seem to go a day or two then everyone plays nice again for a while
BTW this is an old pic of them in the 45 gallon i had they have since all been placed in a new 75 gallon. lots of rock/hiding places now everyone survived the move and continues to be in good health

this is pretty vague but on this site here they are in the gobie class hope that helps and i do not know the scientific name of any fish there just fish to me

Here is a pic of my 2 in my 150. If you look close you will see my red one up at the top of the tank and the purple towards the bottom. I got my red first, and he use to be where the purple is now all the time, but now he is not allowed to go to the bottom thanks to the purple chasing him up to the top. If i had it to do over again, I would only have 1 in my tank, purple is to aggressive IMO to have different colors in the tank.

do you guys think that I can add another red firefish to the tank, i already have one in there and its a 55 gallons with about 50# of LR.

Acutally that is a good question Kuniva. I also have 1 red as the other red died. What is the best way to introduce another red one.
When I upgrade my tank should I put another red and 2 purples in at the same time so they are all introduced together and there is NO territory set for anyone?

I wouldn't add any purple, just another red.

as stated above, i did get my helfrichi firefish. even though i got him last, he still is the boss of the other two...
