What needs DT's

I am thinking of my aquarium and trying to figure what really needs phytoplankton. Can anyone list any inverts that definitely need phyto. The only thing in my system that I can think of that needs phyto is my coco worm. I am just curious because I would like to get an idea of how often I really need to use DT's. Right now my 55 gets 1&1/2 capfuls twice a week and after what Steveweast spoke about I am wondering if I even need to use that much. I currently have some GSP, Mushrooms, Frogspawm, a plate and plan on getting some button polyps and a hammerhead on Friday. Any info will help

The only thing I can see in your tank would be the coco worm.
I know gorgonians, small clams, filter feeding worms, sponges.
