What Phone Should I Get?

well i am eligible for an upgrade in 2 weeks. My current service provider is AT&T. i have had the AT&T tilt since it came out and i freggin hate it. I Want to stay away from windows mobile phones..any ideas on what I should get?
I am looking at the 3g iphone 16gb, i am getting a sweet deal for it..
blackberry? hm

the new g1 or htc touch pro.
Iphone has good multimedia but the htc is a powerhouse for work related tasks.
Why no windows? Why have a smartphone if you cant use its interface and put it to work?

I've had a couple of the HTC's and they are very good for work or home business but they have all seemed kind of cheap with bad sound. If you want a phone with an insane amount of cool apps and media, like me, you can't beat an Iphone. Iphone is coming out with a new model this summer. May be worth the wait.

Just like Shaggyblz said, if you want a phone that has tons of apps and a nice multimedia, then go with the iPhone. I have it and I love it, music, videos, internet, texting, games...What else can I ask for?

i have the HTC tilt and its garbage. the processor that windows uses for HTC phones (excluding the shift) is really crappy. i have a 8 gb micro sd for my tilt loaded with songs and a few tv shows. once i start watching them and battery life is about halfway, text msgs, phone calls, etc freeze up the phone. i can send emails with the htc, surf the web, surf forums, but the response time is entirely too slow. with a blackberry or iphone, surfing/emails responds in a second..have you seen the new htc shift? now thats a windows based phone that i would not mind getting, too bad its 1500 bills!

MMS is being released for the in the Iphone 3.0 OS update coming out soon. It is pretty rediculous though that it hasnt had MMS capability till this point.
Seriously buy an iPhone. The Safari browser is far superior to the opera browser on a Crapberry. Plus there are apps out the wazzoo!!

It is a tank!
A great option for those who's work links them in bondage to hauling around a laptop for data manipulation. To other users it is a tank. Too large for a phone, too small for larger multi media to display beyond snapshots. Teens and tech geeks are about the only ones to use them because of thier size limitations in real world.
Dont get me wrong, they are beautiful and I would snatch one up.....only I have no use for one. Besides the bidding site and forums.

Dont worry, there is MMS now. The new software update was a couple weeks ago and you will be able to download onto your phone very soon.

MMS for the iphone comes out in early summer, probably the day of WWDC (apples world wide developers conference). If your leaning to the iphone i would wait it out because in june it is almost certain that a new iphone is coming out that will be better than the previous version.

Is it actually going to be a new phone, or like the original vs. the 3G?
And that HTC Shift is just ridiculous. At that size, why? Honestly, I can't see the battery being good, at all, so say maybe 8 hours of life? Is being able to send to another phones really that important? Why wouldn't you just get a 'standard' smartphone and a laptop? They make smaller ones than the Shift:

lol but with a 80 gig hard drive? and an 800mhz processor? dont get me wrong that ---- is huge, but i think that its pretty neat. i wouldnt pay 1500 for it id pay tops 600.
darth, i wish i could get one of those but i dont think i have the resources to carry around a long cable lol
BB BOLD or Iphone? question abt mms and iphone, is taht going to be an app?

I couldnt imagine life without my blackberry.
I first got a blackberry in 2005 and Ive never looked back. the only time Ive gotten rid of my blackberry was upgrading to a new and improved version. I dont think I will ever use any other mobile device.

I think it's just going to be a new feature with the new update. I just really hope that AT&T doesn't decide to make MMS as an extra item we have to pay for, even if we have unlimited texting. I currently have unlimited everything, but I don't want to pay more than I am already

alright today is the big day. BB bold or iphone ?!?! looks like i am getting the bold for free, and 16gb iphone for 125, both brand new..
