what protein skimmer

hi just wondering if anyone could please help me with choosing the best skimmer for my application (if needed) I have a 45 gallon tank with lr and cc and a power head just got it up and running early last week it will be a fowlr set up any advice on anything else I should also have is much appreciated thanks

While there are many to chose from I like the Prizm if you are doing a hang on skimmer. If you are going the sump method then I'll pass for other expert opinions.

tank that size, i would say a prizm or a bakpak or remora, depending on budget. The prizm would be fine, but the bakpak better, and the REMORA would be even better yet(but more costly).
If you are going for an aggressive tank, I woudl definitely opt for teh better of the 3, jsut because in an aggressive tank, you really do want a more reliable and aggressive skimmer

I'm with fshhub on the bakpak. i have one on my 55 reef and it does a great job once it breaks in. I fyou get one let in run for a week or two nonstop and there will likely be alot of bubbles in your tank. Once that happpens it will work great.
