What salt do you use for your reef tanks?

We are having trouble with our pH levels lately. We switched to Seachem Reef Salt and our levels have dropped to 7.8. We need 8.3 but it's a battle every time we change water more than 5%. We have been battling alk and calcium levels with this too. Anyone else have this problem?
What Reef Salts do you recommend and why?
Thanks in advance.

I used Instant Ocean but could not keep my calcium up so I switched to Oceanic and I pay $54.99 for a large 5 gallonish tub that makes 200 gallons.

hot883 - What does Oceanic do to your pH and alk levels?
Dogstar - have you had any ill effects using Tropic Marin?
Thanks and keep the responses coming! We are about to fill a 180 gallon tank and don't want the same thing to happen again!

Yeap, Tropic Marin Pro, my tanks really started to thrive when I switched over. Calcium levels are almost perfect at 430.

Our calcium levels are great at about 400-450 but our alk went thru the roof at 15.7!! Ammonia, nitrite are both 0 and I think our nitrate tests are bad because they both show nitrates between 40 and 80 all the time. (even on the hospital tank which is empty and not connected to the nano)
It isn't Seachem we have been using it's Oceanic. (My hubby's handwriting is like hieroglyphics!)
Right now it looks like Tropic Marin is a brand to check out. Any other suggestions?
