What size hospital?

I need to know how big of a hospital tank I need. I need to set up a hospital tank for all my fish. If I do hypo I want to treat all my fish and give the tank time to rid itself of dormant ich. I have 5 fish, all small. Can I use a 10 gallon or wouold I need a larger tank. I have a seeded filter to use and a heater, do I even need a skimmer? One of my percs has a rather large spot, much larger than a salt granule and one just a bit smaller on his top fin, no itching, scatching or darting.
What do you think, please help?!

if your fish are small you can setup a 20 gallon long a skimmer is not needed on a qt but its not a bad idea to have one a small cc skimmer it depends on the bioload you will have in the qt
