i would get a 125 but that depends on what other type of fish you want to get with it.

my porky was 6 inches when I got him a year ago and Had it in a 6 foot 125
grew to almost 10 inches in there.... now he has a new home in my 8 foot 180
he's so much happier having the extra 2 feet to swim. go with the largest tank your budget will allow, it's such a pain to move everything later on to a larger tank if you decide to upgrade after getting a tank that was to small to begin with. IMO

the fish gets to 1 1/2 feet. a tank that is at least 2 feet wide is needed.

Go as big as you can, I think a 150 should be plenty of space. But they like to explore so the bigger the better.
