what size pump

need to upgrade my hob overflow box from 1 outlet to
2 outlets to my 2 sections on my sump.(20 gal)-- D.T 75 gal
anyone have comments on CPR-102 w dual 1 " outlets ?
has a flow rate os 1200 g.p.h does that meen i need a pump
with that same flow rate .? have a closed loop system wirh a
O.M and a 2400 g.ph. pump so tank flow is not the issue.
just want to step up the flow to refug/sump

I use the cpr102 but i have a return line of 1200
a friend uses the cpr100 and he has a return pump rated at 975
hope that helps..
btw, I haven't had any problems with my CPR ever..
but I would recommend getting the tom pump for it. Keep in mind you will end up just leaving it connected to the overflow becuase if you release the pressure, the box loses its siphon.
oh and just because it's connected doesn't mean it's running. I only run it when I want to make the siphon going again, i.e. after water changes or anything that requires me to turn off my return.
otherwise, I just leave it unplugged.

Myself and my friends tend to use mags as our pumps

I have also been very happy with Mag pumps as long as you use them in sump. There are reports that they may leak if used outside the sump even
though they are advertised as in sump and out.

if you want maximum flow you can use as small as 1200 or as large as you want, no matter what youll only return what your draining..minus head loss and all that
just make sure you put a ball valve on the outflow of your pump if you go large, so that you can turn it down to the flowrate desired
