going to be putting my sump together in a few days. Ive got the 29 gal reef, and under the stand i put a 20 gal tank. is this overkill? reason is because it it a little big under neath, and i have no room to put anything on the sides. Would a 10 gal be okay?
only reason is that it would fit so much better, but its so small.
Maybe i will go back to the 18 tall? Any suggestions? I want to have my skimmer, heater , hang on refug, and small aquaclear filter in the sump. thanks

If that's overkill, what is Reef Guy's 900 gallon fuge? I say go with the 20 and divide it down the middle. 1/2 sump, 1/2 fuge.

No such thing as too big a sump! If you have the room, I'd say split it half/half as suggested previously. You can get away with a smaller one though, but, IMO, bigger is better in the case of the sump.

I'd really like to make this bigger tank work. I'll figure something out..
I also need to block the emitting light from the 24/7 fuge lamp...so it wont bug me at night
thanks
