That is correct. You never know which one is male till they get large.
You have to cross your fingers and hope. My naso is 6" and looks like it is starting streamers, but will not know for another year probably.

1 french angel (i'm getting a 125 gallon (or larger) tank and holding one for my brother hayden until he can get his tank set up because he really wants one)
1 puffer
1 eel
1 trigger
and a blenny or a madrin because there cool
