what snowflake eels eat

hi i just got a snowflake eel 3 days ago. he is about 5-6 inches in a 55 galoon aquarium. right now im trying to feed him frozen silver backs but he just looks at them and swims away. i tryed cutting it up in smaller pieces but it still dosent eat them. so need to know what else he would eat.

I feed mine raw shrimp and scallops from the grocery store. You might already know this, but they should be fed using a feeder stick because they are about 99% blind. He's pretty small, that may be why he's not eating (the smaller ones sometimes have a harder time adapting). I would try small pieces of shrimp or scallop on a feeding stick. Mine loves that.

Squid is one of the strongest smelling fish food. This is usually good for morays because they are almost blind and just rely on their sense of smell to locate food.
