What submersible pump is the quietest for a return pump

I have a mag 7 and it sounds kinda loud

Try giving it a good cleaning. Soak it in hot water with a little vinager. My mag 7 is quiter then my little Rio pump that I use for mixing water.

MAG 7 Mine is very quiet, make no noticable noise at all.

What is your pump sitting on? The noise could be caused by vibration. If that's the case, a small piece of rubber could dampen the sound.

My mag 7 is quiet too ! Way-way better than the Rio !!
