What SW fish have "personality"??

The Naso that I had was a really cool fish, while I had him. But they really do need ALOT of swimming room.
From my observations, I would say the most entertaining are the Flame Hawkfish.
Also, I saw these gobies that were white, with drab orange spots on him and all he did was dive his head into the sand and pick up a mouthful, then turn around and spit the sand out as if he was making something. That fish was actually the coolest to watch, I just don't know the name.

orange spotted diamond goby...had one in the past that did that all day...i think he was making a cave for himself, he jumped out of the tank unfortunately :(
my vote is for the yellow boxfish...my fav fish by far even more than my tangs (i cant believe i said that)...he eats out of my hand, lets me pet him and follows me around the tank

All mine have their own great personality but my personal favorite is my sixline wrasse. He is always weaving in and out of the rockwork or swimming up and down doing flips in the water. A very pretty, very active fish, and friendly too. Comes up to the front of the tank to see me everytime I walk up.

The clown fish sounds like a good equivalent to your freshwater cichlids to me. Mine layed eggs all the time.

I would have to say my Picasso Trigger aptly named "Killer" he has such a personality. I had no idea they sleep laying down - he does! He let's me pet him, he comes up out of the water when it is "feeding" time - of course all this activity started occurring after I fed him a $30 blood red shrimp (not intentionally of course, just thought he would be a beautiful addition to the tank) - found out the hard way it is his favorite food!
He swims around me when I am cleaning the tank, since I cannot have a clean up crew! He is quite a performer when I come into the room too!
So... I would have to say, the Picasso Trigger!
Only drawback with the little fella, is he cannot have any tankmates!!
If you want more than one fish, I would say my Red Lipped Blenny has a similar attitude in performance - he races by to get my attention, goes from end to end of my tank wherever I am - very full of personality!
Good Luck!
:)

Have to echo the comments about the Six-Line and Cleaner Shrimp. Clowns are cool too, especially when mine tries to bite me because my hand got too close to "her" part of the tank. Cleaner Shrimp are just insane and probably my favorite thing in my tank.

I am going to have to agree on the humu humu. I seen the owner of a pet store actually play catch with one! He'd put his hand in the tank, it'd rush at him full force, he'd grab it real quick, toss it to the other side of the tank, put his hand in the water again, and the fish would rush at him again... and again... and again.
In my tank now, a yellow watchman goby probally has the most "personality".

My Flame Hawkfish and my foxface are very people responsive, when I or any guests go near my tank, they come out and seem so curious. The flame perches on the rock, and he looks around with his eyes, while the foxface swims and plays with all its tankmates. Blennies are also cool, displaying dog like behavior.
