I thought i have a bio-cube 29gal, but everyone keeps talking about the 3 chamber on the back.... mine only has 2, also watching the installion movies on nanotuners it's not the same hood....

That is because it is a 24 gallon aquapod not a jbj 29g

i paid $300 for mine new... i have no problem with mine there just not as popular

hey cool with me do you know where i can get a new light cover? Also is the biocube skimmer a good fit? All i have in the back is the green sponge stuff....

i think they sell the light hoods at nano tuners (google it cause im not supost to post links)
i dont have a skimer all i did is upgrade the pump to a rio8 (from this site)
i have just the sponge and a bag of carbon in there and it seems to do just fine

awesome rock on with the pod! I like being a little different. LOL what about the hood upgrade? I'm mainly doing a fish tank not growing a bunch of coral so it should be ok with the stock lights.... the nano reef pack is going to be my first live purchase after the tank settles...

LOL... the hood upgrade as in the led retrofit? if so then its not worth it if you are not going to keep alot of corals just stick with the stock light
