I have my tank at 78 degrees. Is that okay?

S shrimpy brains Guest Mar 22, 2010 #3 IMO, that is an excellent temp. I think it is also more important to keep it consistant. I keep my reef 75-78. This only varies by time of year and not thru out the day! I kept it 75 all the time, till I had to steal my chiller for Seahorse tank!

aquaman Member Mar 22, 2010 #5 I keep the heater setting at 72o but the tank has been staying about 76o. In a few weeks the AC will be on. I also hope to get a chiller this summer.
