How long have you had that fish?
It looks like it is growing from within the head and pushing out on the flesh? Is that right? Not something attached.
Perhaps some kind of tumor.
How is the fish doing aside from this?

had fish for 6 weeks.
bump started 4 days ago.
fish acting normal.

i had a blue tang about 2 years ago that had the same problem, quarantined him and it didn't do anything, the tang didn't make it but i wish you the best of luck

haha good to hear. maybe he just ran into something realy hard. haha
either that or hes going through puberty and got a huge pimple. in that case he probably hate you for posting a picture of him with a huge zit all over the internet
