Ugh.
Early on in this hobby I got a blue hippo tang. It came down with ich, and died. I only Q'd him for about a week and half. The tank was only a handful of months old. Lesson learned--or so I thought.
Now I've added another one, this time to a system that has been up for more than 2 years (as a reef for about 10 months)
The tank parameters are perfect. I Q'd the blue for about 3 weeks, maybe a day or two more. He was doing great, and no signs of ich. No problem now, I thought. Ha. I put him in the display tank...and in less than two days, ICH.
I haven't had ich in forever, now I have to deal with it AGAIN. I can't believe these fish.
