What The Heck Is It

With my moon lights on I see from under a crevice in the rocks what looks like 2 thin tenacles probing around. At first I thought it was a slime of sorts but it is translucent thin and long and definatley probing (against the current)
with a purpose.
Anyone got a clue?

Its really thin..almost snotty or stringy..but like I said is probing under its own power.
