What the heck is this? Sorry no pic

Ok, in my live rock there are these long clear looking worm things that come out of nowhere and expand in and out. It seems like they only come out at night. Any ideas or do I have to get a picture of them. They look like worms attached to the LR.

yeha I guess they are coming out of these tubes. I can't really see anything from that picture but I know you can't really do anything about that. They are so hard to see, none the less getting a picture. Thanks though. They are safe for coral? Also how do they get here? Do they grow? Is it uncommon to have this in a newer tank?
