I had the samething last week, now they are gone. They look like they disolved. Hopefully they hatched and one or two will find a way to surive in the fuge, but I doubt it.

Can you tell me what kind of snail lays the zig zag trail? I have Turbo, Cerith and Astraea snails. There may be others, but I am not sure.

cerith usually lay a more complex and bigger circular pattern. that looks like astrea (which are turbo) eggs. IME

unlike FW, SW snail species lay eggs but almost never become actual baby snails.
