What the %#** is this thing

I just about came out of my skin, I was moving some LR around thats in my sump and this brown, fuzzy, crab thingy came crawling out of a rock. Light colored brown and covered in "fuzz" about 1.5 to 2", hes huge

I tell ya, he tried to rip my arm off. I almost didn't survive. Plus I whacked the back of my head on the bottom of the tank and then the screaming started...LOL

I thought you were kidding when you called it a "Bear" I just did some reading, these are very interesting critters. Should I move it from my fuge to the DT, I read that they may eat zoo's? If so, I don't want my DT turned into a drive thru...Funny this is that this guy must have been living in the fuge for several months and he's huge, must have come in as a juvie.

My bear came with some LR about 1.5 year ago. All corals are doing fine. i have not fed it directly.

I'm cool with leaving him in the sump until I know more, A little leary of moving him to the DT....I just can't figure out what he's eating. Would this be the reason there are so few pods in my fuge?

He looks cute, but from what I have read, they can go on rampages and will eat your livestock, I'll toss him a silverside from time to time and see how big I can raise him....
