Hey people!!!!! I have a stupid ? but ima ask anyways. I was just thinking how I get my freshwater from my saltwater store. I take my 5 gallon container down there and it only cost me 2 dollers and I was thinking what is the differnece than plain water from my sink to there freshwater. Do they put some type of chemical in it idk but cant I just fell up my 5 gallon container with plain sink water???

Sink water has harmful minerals and metals in it along with chemicals like chlorine.

To be sure, just ask them if you are buying RO/DI water.
