What to do about these???

I had a friend tell me that these things would spread quick, boy was he right. My question is what exactly is it? And do I really want a bunch of these things in my tank?

Any insight you guys can give me on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Yup, you have feather dusters, a type of worm. Not necessaarily bad, but I would read up on it.

Are there different breeds of feather dusters? These don't look like the typical feather dusters I see at the LFS. Do I want to try to get rid of them?

Forgive me if I'm wrong...but that looks like aiptasia, a type of pest anemone you do NOT want. There are various methods for getting rid of them...but I would wait until someone knows for sure what it is. Also, I wasn't aware feather dusters spread quickly, but I do know aiptasia spreads pretty rapidly.

That is aptasia it is what I had same color and everything. My peppermint shrimp took care of it but it was alot smaller than that.
