Ok well i have a 20 gal set up with 3 yellowtail damsels and 2 clowns with 6 blue leg hermit crabs and a snail (not sure the lady at the petstore gave me a snail instead of a crab). Well a few days ago my AC broke and here in Tx it gets REALLY hot, when i came home hte tank was at 90 and hte house was at 96. I put ice in the tank and cooled it down and fixed the AC and everything was fine (my anemone did die tho). Anyways now the ugly brown algae is growing all over my tank... teh sand the glass teh rocks EVERYTHING... is there anything i can do to get rid of thise b4 it takes over my entire tank?

Brown algae is more than likely diatoms... the snail will gorge on it and it will go away... Want to get rid of it faster... buy a few more snails (mexican turbos). Try to avoid additives to get rid of this kind of stuff...
