What to do with Qt tank?

i have a 10 gallon qt tank and nothing in it except live rock and some pipes
im not going to get any more fish and now some cyano bacteria algae is starting to come in since i dont have anything to keep the cycle going
what should i do?

put the living stuff in your DT, and save all the eqipment incase you need it later

I keep mollies in mine to keep the cycle going.

I'm talking about FW mollies. You can acclimate them to SW if you do it VERYYYYY slowly.

I keep mine running all the time just in case....I throw in some fish food periodically to keep things going when no one is living there. You don't need the live rock in the qt, because if you do use it for hypo, it will kill the rock anyway.
