What to get after cycling?

I have gotten the following fish in my profile and i want to know where to build. I m interested in an anactive tank, but not interested in a full blown reef or a highly aggressive tank with beaten up fish.
What would be my next logical step after my first month

Get rid of the damsel because there more trouble then there worth and get some chromis perhaps, they are active and swim all day. Could try percula clowns. There arn't many active fish you can put in a 50 gal because most active fish need a bigger tank for that reason.
