I was wondering what you all think i should put in my 220 since its not big enough for a more active shark. I want it to be a really agressive tank. What do you all think.

I like Fishy411's list.
I'm a lion fanatic, so I'd go with something like:
2 Big V. lions
1 dragon Wrasse
1 so ugly that there cute angler
Have fun!!! That's a pretty big tank and you have lots of choices.

many many choices. a large lion, panther grouper, zebra moray, emperor angel, golden puffer, porcupine ouffer, lunare wrasse, and any trigger. that would be my list.

what about a emperor angel, 2 blue throat triggers (1 male,1 female), maybe 2 more triggers, a large dogface puffer. What else do you think would go with these.

I am with evil's on zebra moray, panther grouper, porcupine puffer, either dragon or lunare wrasses, I think an angler would be cool as well, very different. I like the zebra over the dragon though, less expensive and not as much risk I believe. plus the zebra and panther would lower the fish cost- instead of the golden puffer, emperor angel, and dragon moray. Could you imagine just loosing the last three if the tank were to crash?
I am asking the same question with a 90 gallon and looking at some of the same fish.

if you figure that out tell me- mabye some really large mexican turbos sense its a 220 if everyfish is fed all the time. I would say seed it with good live sand. I am new to aggressive and have been trying to figure out what inverts you could put in an agressive.

I would go like this:
2 Triggers (1 clown, & 1 picasso)
2 Puffers (1 porky, & 1 dogface or similar)
1 Lionfish
1 eel
and either
1 wrasse
or
1 grouper
A good mix of fish, different looks and personalities... All can hold their own.

Thats a Really bad combo. 1 really aggressive trigger, 1 fairly aggressive trigger, 2 aggressive puffers and a poor defenseless lionfish. I know i am not the only one who knows that isnt gonna work

here is the list i have been think about
2 triggers (clown and blue throat)
2 puffers ( porky and dogface or stars and stripes)
1 eel ( havent decided)
1 banana wrasse
orange angler
purple tang
How do you think snail and crabs are going to do in that tank.

i honestly wouldn't add a clown trigger. It is to risky i think. I would add a mated pair of bluethroats. It would be beautiful. They are very pretty fish when full grown. The rest of your list looks good. Any eel would be fine... I have a full grown snowflake and although common, he is very fun to play with :)

oh... and snails and crabs wouldn't last with the CT in there
My porc puffer doesn't eat snails or hermits, but that is just mine... i'm pretty sure bluethroats dont mess with snails o hemits to often. Stars and stripes puffer is more aggressive the a dogface. But you may be able to get away wth it if you ditch the CT and add clean up crew first
