What type of algae?

Need help identifying what type of algae this is right middle half of rock. It grows and spreads in a mat.Dark purple reddish color. Feels and looks like velvet. Does not smell does not blow off with a turkey baster at all but can be pealed off of rock with some effort like a moss. Don't believe it's cyano as it doesn't fit the description I read online. My LFS has some on one of there rocks and says it's good but it is spreading over my Coraline in some areas and covering surface area on some rocks where I think it may be hard for some of my encrusting corals to compete with. Not growing on but around them like my pagoda cup frag which is attached to the same rock it has surrounded already to the edge but not grown on or seam to be effecting besides possible growth maybe?
