If you are interested, you can go look at some pictures of Green Tip and Pink Tip Haitian Anemones online. You will see what I am talking about. They are all very light with Bright Green or Bright Pink Tips, which do form bubbles similar to a BTA, however in all the pictures of BTA's I have seen, the tips become lighter as they expand. This Anemone the tips are the darkest colored place on the tenticles.
I am not an expert in anything, and have spent many hours looking at pictures I can find. I was not even suspicious until the Clown started hosting. When the Anemone showed a very distinct dislike for the attention the Clown was giving him, I became suspicious. The reaction of the Anemone to the Clown is very much like what I have seen described about the behavior of Condy Anemones. I had never seen a Pink Tip Haitian before two days ago when I started investigating this a little bit more.
I really hope I am wrong, and that is why I am here asking. But so far I fear that since the Pink or Green Tip Haitian Anemone tenticles to form "bubble" tips, I am more of the opinion that some disreputable LFS owners might be passing them off as BTA's...
