Hmmm I always thought you were either a purebred person or a mutt person. I would like to give people the option to vote for both on this poll but I can't change it now.
Ru, I LOVE that second picture. The dog is just on the go and does not matter about the rope around it's neck and your boy has a look of total concentration and a little bit of UhOh on his face. We saw a Great Dane at the dog park once and it never ran, it lumbered around the field, and even then it was as fast as my whippet mix.

lol... their dog is a gentle giant... she usually just trots (which is almost a sprint for my kiddos) beside the kiddos, but in that pic she decided to take off... about 10 seconds after this pic my son was on his stomach and the dog was on the loose... fortunately all worked out... my son was laughing hysterically and the dog went right to my eX...

Cody is a pure-bread golden retriever (10 weeks old)

Every dog I ever wned in the past was a purebread... rottie, & boxers (rescues, not pets).
My current is my vicious Jack russel rat terrier. Jack-rat.
He's the best of both breeds, best smartest dog I ever owned.
